Apartment in Moscow on the project studio SODA, 28 m2
They say a lot in life depends on where you direct your gaze. The owner of this apartment often looks to the sky, so a small apartment does not seem close to him.

What would you do if you were offered to decorate an apartment with a total area of ??28 m2, and even an uneasy layout - in the form of an elongated trapezium? Oksana Stanislavova and Alena Dzutseva, co-founders of the SODA studio, first of all came to the window. The window here is large, and since the apartment is located on the twenty-third floor, only the upper floors of the opposite buildings are visible. And above them is the sky. If you look up, before the eyes of only endless blue.
This feeling of infinity, into which you can go without leaving the limits of a small one-room apartment, decided everything. A place near the window designers took under the bedroom. In the morning, waking up, its owner, a Moscow student, sees only the sky before him. In Moscow, it is not always blue and the sun does not often look through the clouds, but this is not so important, the main thing is perspective, spaciousness.
Everything else happened by itself. The storage took place in a system of built-in cabinets seven and a half meters long and three meters high. There was a place in it for a two-chamber refrigerator, and for sports equipment (the customer rides on skis and in his free time trains beginners as an instructor), and for soccer balls, and for boots for all seasons. With the help of a line of cabinets, we managed to even out the shape of the room, make it more regular and more pleasing to the eyes. \
Most of the time and effort was spent, oddly enough, on the partition separating the tiny kitchen from the bedroom. The SODA studio has its own production (all brass handles and other decorative elements are made on it), so it was initially assumed that the partition would be made of metal. But she did not fit in this apartment - she looked too heavy. A wooden, light, painted in the color of the walls - got up as my own. The shape of its cells echoes the rhythm of the windows on the facade of the building opposite. “The interior is friends with the exterior,” says Oksana Stanislavova.
There is no space left on the desktop, but a wide window sill performs its functions quite well. Designers built into the slopes of the outlet, so there you can attach a laptop and work, looking out the window. It is here, as you see, playing the main role, at least during the day.
