Palm "grew" right in the center of the living room, African flowers "bloomed" on the wallpaper, under the feet - a carpet with a zebra pattern ... Designers Anna Sysoeva and Tatyana Odintsova from ArchBlack bureau created a real exotic oasis in a modern city apartment.
“The customer immediately let us know that she was most afraid of the bland interior, she dreamed of juicy accents, but without going over,” says Anna. - At home, she wanted something bright and unusual to distract from everyday problems. In this case, the apartment was supposed to turn into a peaceful oasis in the city. ” Thus, an emerald shade of curtains appeared in these walls, bright yellow textiles in the upholstery of chairs and accessories, a soft turquoise ceiling in the bedroom, which is perfectly combined with the headboard of a shade-green bed.

“Our hallway is like a road junction,” says Tatyana. - From it you can roll either into the dressing room, or into the bathroom, or into the bedroom, or go straight to the living room. Living room combined with kitchen and dining room. The kitchen is minimalist, although very functional. ”
Initially, in the middle of the living room was a column, the designers beat it, “hiding” in the closet. “In this way, we delimit the kitchen and living room,” says Anna. “This cabinet is very functional - we made shelves between the column and the wall, and there was still room for a cooler.”

The tropical theme continues even in the bathroom. In the design of the walls, the designers combined panels with the image of palm leaves with laconic classic tiles. “It resembles the one that can be seen in the Paris metro,” says Anna. - We initially did not plan a panel with leaves in the bathroom, but when we ordered a tile, we saw it on the stand and immediately fell in love. So I had to make changes in the project right in the store to take this beauty with me. ”
“In all the rooms we mix vintage light of the 1950s – 70s. with modern design, - says Tatiana. - As a result, the interior was rather eclectic, but with a mood. In the living room we have a bright recognizable object - a vintage floor lamp in the shape of a golden palm tree, the design of the legendary studio Maison Jansen. An original lamp by British designer Lee Broom hangs in the bedroom. ”

Many pieces of furniture are made specifically for this interior design drawings, in particular wardrobes, shelves and hanging cabinets in the living room. “We intentionally made the same facades as in the kitchen in order to draw a parallel between different functional areas, and also provided for a special shelf for storing wine,” says Anna.
The kitchen was ordered in Italy, and she arrived in Rostov-on-Don in full assembly. “The important task was to observe all the sizes and proportions given by the factory and ideally fit it into space,” says Tatyana. “We wanted no element in this interior to fall out of the general theme and context.”
