Usually, Zhenya Zhdanova’s projects are filled with bright colors, but this time the designer had to literally restrain herself - customers wanted a calm and laconic interior. But their creative tandem was a success, and the space of the apartment became volumetric, airy and harmonious. The main idea of the project: to create a harmonious interior for a couple with five children, which will reflect the individuality of each family member.

客户是一对有5个孩子的夫妇，他们想要创造一个现代意大利风格的平静的室内环境。作为三个孩子的母亲，Zhenya Zhdanova非常理解他们的需求和生活方式，但她总是不得不克制自己，因为她的室内通常充满了明亮的色彩。客户对引人注目的色彩组合和几何图案非常谨慎，他们更喜欢比较克制的设计。

This project got to me at that stage when interior partitions were already erected and part of the engineering work was completed. Customers, a couple with five children, wanted to create a calm interior in a modern Italian style. As a mother of three children, Zhenya Zhdanova understand their needs and lifestyle perfectly, but she constantly had to restrain myself, because usually her interiors are filled with bright colors. Clients were very careful about eye-catching color combinations and geometric prints, preferring more restrained decisions.

Nevertheless, Zhenya Zhdanova found a compromise: we took neutral shades as a basis and placed accents at the expense of bright pieces of furniture and decor. Such an approach allowed creating a calm and balanced background that is always easy to update and transform depending on the situation. Despite the rather restrained color palette, the interior does not look boring. She used different shades of gray and white, highlighting only the focal zones with complex textures and decor items or furniture.

三个年长女孩的卧室设计了三种不同的材质：彩虹色丝绸、亚麻织物和闪闪发光的珍珠面纱。在客厅里，她们使用了带有绒面革效果的无烟煤颜色的粗糙纹理，具有令人难以置信的触感。它已经成为现代艺术作品展示的一个优秀背景。

For the bedrooms of the three older girls, three different textures were created: with the effect of iridescent silk, linen fabric and shimmering pearl veil. In the living room she used a rough texture of anthracite color with suede effect, incredibly pleasant to the touch. It has become an excellent background for the demonstration of objects of modern art.
