The Moscow Region house, decorated by designers from Buro Vnutri, begins with a spectacular black hallway.
Graduates of “Details” Galina Dorokhova, Olesya Bernstein and Marina Varnashova several years ago founded their own bureau and gave it a talking name - Buro Vnutri. “It is about our work. We are engaged in interiors, and there are three of us, - Galina explains. “This is the first house in our portfolio, before that we only made out apartments and offices.”
Their customers bought a townhouse in a cottage settlement on the banks of the Istria River, so that they could go somewhere over the weekend, but eventually, after the repair was completed, they moved here to live. “This is a young couple with two children. When we discussed the concept and the color scheme of the future interior, they said that they were not afraid of saturated colors, so we had a blue room, a turquoise gym, a blue bedroom and a black hallway, ”Olesya continues.
In general, all the rooms in the house should have been designed in the related gray-blue shades. Only black was accidental in this story. Designers owe his appearance to builders. “We sent them to the store for the gray paint that they used in the living room, and they returned from the black one. At first we thought of leaving it for some other work, and then we consulted with the customers and ventured to make the entrance area completely black. The result was unexpected and everyone liked it, ”say the designers. So the occasional mistake turned into a spectacular decoration.
Also unplanned in this interior appeared vintage furniture. “The customer said that he was categorically against two things: artificial stone and vintage furniture. If we completely agreed with the first item and used only marble, granite and slate, then we simply decided not to argue with the second, ”the designers recall. However, they still brought vintage furniture and carpet for the owner's office for fitting. He, assessing the situation live, changed his mind and agreed to leave everything as it is.
In general, the work on the project went smoothly. In the house of 230 m2 on the ground floor there is a gymnasium, utility rooms, a guest room, a bathroom and a large common area with a kitchen, dining room and living room. The hosts often receive guests and use the kitchen island not only during cooking, but also for serving small buffets. Here the painted walls are diluted with fragments of brick. This is not by chance. “All the houses in the village are lined with red brick,” says Olesya. - Looking out the window, you see a similar clutch. So we tied the interior and the street. ”
A similar technique designers used in the entrance area. They designed the cabinets with mirrored facades and imitation of the window cover and installed them in the vestibule and hallway. Now it is absolutely impossible to understand where there is a blank wall between these rooms, and where the window is.
The entire second floor is occupied by children's and master's blocks. Children have a spacious playroom in addition to their room, and their parents have an office, bathroom and dressing room. The movement in this part of the house is organized in a circle so that one spouse does not disturb the rest of the other, if he wakes up earlier: from the bedroom you can immediately go to the office or get there by going through the bathroom and dressing room.
Customers really liked this ergonomic layout, they themselves were in favor of a rational approach. For example, children's room girls framed quite restrained. “The hostess was against vanilla and marshmallow shades. She reasoned that in the nursery there is always a mess and there are enough bright toys, which means that the general background should be calm, so the walls here are painted in a light shade of gray, ”explains Galina.
Despite the predominance of gray, the atmosphere in the house turned out to be cozy and enveloping. Designers explain this with a fair amount of daylight and the use of velvet-like paints. “Customers from the very beginning said that they were disturbed by dark interiors, therefore they were satisfied with the result,” says Galina. They also liked to equip a country house. They are already thinking about expanding. However, the color scheme, as well as the authors of the interior, do not plan to change.
