A modern apartment in RedSide residential complex with a view of the Moscow City skyscrapers immediately fell in love with the new owner. A lawyer by profession, she was glad to settle next to the main business district of Moscow. “Initially, it was planned to make a studio apartment - the most obvious option proposed by the developer. However, I managed to dissuade the customer, ”says designer Angela Konevnina. - I wanted to prove that even on a relatively small area of ??65 square meters. m you can create a fashionable and comfortable space for life, without going into a standard project. The space was divided into four functional blocks: a bedroom with a dressing room, a living room combined with a dining room and kitchen, a dressing room and a laundry room, and the latter - a shower room and a bathroom. One of the first, all the advantages of the new space was appreciated by the cat’s favorite Michelle. She loves to sit comfortably in soft pillows on the sofa in the living room. By the way, she was happy to pose for our photographer as well.

The style of the future interior was decided quickly and easily - in the process of communication it turned out that the designer and her client largely agree on the tastes. “We unanimously chose a modern American style for this apartment. We like the work of the same designers, ”says Angela. “That is how the furniture of sculptural silhouettes Kelly Westler (Kelly Wearstler), fashionable lamps by Thomas O’Brien, spectacular accessories Erin Lauder” appeared in the project. ”

The color scheme of the interior is saturated, but calm. “My customer is very active and businesslike, she wanted to feel at home at home,” says Angela. “We created such a beautiful oasis.” The palette has many shades of gray, they add warmth. The sheen of metal and polished stone dilutes the neutral gamut. Using textiles and graphics on the walls, the designer added rhythm, volume and texture to the interior.

“According to my observation, the contemporary American style, authorial and innovative, is increasingly replacing the bourgeois European with antiques and luxury,” says Angela. “Lightness, purity and elegance of form are in fashion.” Some of the items were made to order specifically for this interior. Angela ordered furniture from sketches and drawings from Russian manufacturers. The designer experimented with finishes, using metallized surfaces, polycarbonate, resin, glass, ceramics and quartzite. “Thinking through the decor of a small apartment, save wisely: for example, a small dressing room is anyway more convenient than a large closet,” says Angela. “A comfortable bed is always better than any expensive sofa.” Interior Designer Angela Konevnina, t. +7 916 221-96-28, andgela-boss@mail.ru
