M?ns Zelmerl?w's home for sale - furnished by Hanna Wessman
M?ns Zelmerl?w changes chapters in life - with the help of the decorator Hanna Wessman. What started with a kitchen renovation ended with the entire roof floor being redone. Now the apartment is for sale - through the real estate agency Eklund Stockholm New York.

He is not the man of small gestures. When M?ns Zelmerl?w does things, it has a tendency to appear. His music career has led to several listings both in Sweden and abroad.

How does such a person go about when he is going to furnish his accommodation then? Pretty much the same way; Moon's usually spend most of their time tearing down walls and casting concrete slabs, things that sound and look.


In addition to a facelift, the apartment has become more social after Hanna Wessman's conversion. “I invite to dinner and party quite often. It has become a fantastic apartment for that purpose ”.



?I am much more to see the big features instead of smaller details and pill. When I step into a house I can see what walls you can take down and what to build. I consider myself quite handy, but it expresses more in my summer place. Here I have not dared to go away as much. It is a lot of fun to cast concrete slabs for the kitchen, but at the country place it works better with the large areas that you can scrape around. That's not what it is here, to cast outside on the balcony is difficult ... ', says M?ns.

M?ns therefore contacted the equally colorful decorator Hanna Wessman through a mutual friend to jointly redevelop the apartment. In addition to furnishing homes, Hanna runs her own blog portal and also designs her own furniture.

"I realized that the old kitchen looked terrible, tile made by the devil, all in pine ... it was horrible. Hanna saw pretty directly what I liked and came up with a suggestion on how to design the kitchen. Since then it has continued and now we have redone every room. It has gone insanely fine, ”says M?ns.

The collaboration thus bore fruit directly, but not without any notches in the machinery. Hanna Wessman talks about a home-built TV furniture that did not suit the decor.

"M?ns asked me what I liked about the TV furniture, I thought 'what fun he is, he can have some fun'. When he said he had built it myself, I became silent, ”laughs Hanna.

“There were many things we did not agree on at the beginning. We did not understand each other directly, although there was always a good atmosphere. But it's my job to get him to understand what I mean, "says Hanna.

?Hanna has certainly brought my ideas with a pinch of salt if we say so. But since I gained a great deal of trust in her from the beginning, I have no doubt. But we have struggled with many of my old furniture, though I kept a daybed. I bid on it when we started to collaborate and got approved. We also had a coat of arms, but Hanna managed to build it into the wardrobe. "

Unsurprisingly, the eternal struggle between the musician and the decorator also arose: the battle over which musical equipment is necessary to have standing in a living room.

?My speakers disappeared immediately. I have kept the instruments. I still have pretty good guitars and not too many - three, four pieces. Of course, I wanted to have the whole wall full of guitars where you come in, but I couldn't learn that. But the wing is nice so it was no talk about it. "


What started with a kitchen renovation ended with the entire penthouse being redone and becoming somewhat quieter and more subdued, an undisturbed oasis for a person whose calendar is chronically full-fledged. In addition to music and program management, M?ns runs his own foundation with five schools in South Africa and Kenya, and is working to launch the racket sport paddle in Sweden.

With a fiancee in London, a bonus zone and a dog, there is no shortage of activities for the singer - but in the future, it is the music to focus on. After peeling off some activities from his packed schedule, he spends most of his time in Surrey south of London along with fiancé Ciara to write songs for his upcoming album. The ambition is to break through in Europe for real.
