On June 31, a new five-star hotel Sinner of the Evok Group hotel group opened in the Paris Marais district; its design was developed by the famous designer and decorator Tristan Auer. The facades of the building are stylized as a monastery, ironically playing with the name of the hotel (sinner - translated from English as “sinner”). Inside there is an artistic space “with special vibrations on each floor,” as stated in the description.

The hotel has 43 rooms and suites, an ethnic restaurant and spa-center. The design is fully consistent with the freedom-loving spirit of this place, every detail attracts attention here: the rooms are inspired by the cells, the halls are lit by lanterns, the private spa-center brings associations with the ancient Roman terms. The interiors have a lot of velvet, dramatic drapery, mirrors and mysterious lighting, creating a mystical atmosphere - like in a medieval monastery, where miracles happen at every step.

The restaurant is run by chef Adam Bentalha, who has developed an ethnic menu for the hotel, which combines the traditions of the Mediterranean, Asia, Africa and South America. The fusion style also extends to the bar list, in which there are always seasonal cocktails and smoothies made from exotic fruits.

Rooms and suites are intimate and cozy. There are many unusual details and trifles like door knockers and peepholes on the front door, referring us to the ancient entrances. A small space of the room is planned as functional as possible and filled with design objects. Somewhere it could be a vintage bureau with an old key, and somewhere - the pumpkin couch by Pierre Paulin (Pierre Paulin), created at one time by the designer for the Elysee Palace and currently produced by the brand Ligne Roset.
