Elena Zorina calls this project ideal: everything went without a hitch and without a hitch. The builders performed their work in good faith and on time, the suppliers never failed, the customer turned to the designer for consultation in advance, even before the glued laminated timber was put into production.

“He said that he loved billiards,” Elena says, “and is ready to give half of the second floor to the billiard room. At his request, changes are made to the finished project: they reinforce the overlappings so that they bear the weight of the billiard table. After looking at the project, I found that the volume of the room is too small, so the construction company made additional adjustments according to my comments. ”

The customer asked to design the interior in a loft style, but for this type of home this style is not quite suitable. “The industrial style implies walls made of bricks and concrete,” Helen explains, “and walls made of lumber are not intended for fixing massive coatings.” Therefore, it was decided to confine interspersions of decorative stone where its presence is logically justified. In the living room, for example, a corner trimmed with a stone is sheathed in stone. For the atmosphere of the loft are responsible lamps and individual furnishings, such as a “box” with metal edges, performing the role of a bedside table in the bedroom.

The most difficult thing in a wooden house, according to Elena, is to find the right shade of paint on wood. Smoky, powdered tones were chosen jointly - the customer took an active part in the process. Part of the furniture he performed on the joinery production, owned by his friends; the rest were bought in Moscow stores.

Elena says that the interior clearly reads not only her handwriting, but also the presence of the owner of the house, thanks to whom this project was remembered as perfect for everyone who had a relation to it. “Coming here, everyone - builders, suppliers, photographer and stylist - pronounced:“ How beautiful! ”
