Cheerful interior with loft elements in Samara
Designer Aigul Sultanova designed a bright apartment of 91 m2 for a young family with three children.
“Customers are a young couple with three children. According to the plan of the developer, the apartment with an area of ??91 m2 - one bedroom. My task was to make her a three-room with a large living room, maximally utilizing the living space. The priority was chosen loft style, but not in its pure form, but by interspersing some of its elements, giving the interior a modern sound. Among other landmarks - the use of complex colors and the prohibition on the use of wallpaper, only paint and decorative plaster, “- says Aigul.
“The main wish of the customers was to have a large living and dining room, since the family spends most of the time here. The living room combined with the dining room required space, so in the project it starts right from the doorstep. There are practically no corridors in the apartment.
From the materials of the owners really wanted to see the old red brick. We found such a brick and built a partition between the two children’s. In the girls' room, the brick was painted white, and in the room the son was left as it is, with irregularities and beautiful signs of aging. In support of this decision in the living room used cement tiles under the old brick.
“In two small children's rooms there are bunk beds, and the wall paintings are used as decor. The peculiarity of the apartment planning did not allow opening both doors to the outside. The design of the invisible doors made it possible to hide the fact that the doors open in different directions: one outside, the second inside. ”“ The most unusual, interesting thing in the interior is the round mirrors in the bathroom. In general, the presence of windows in the bathroom of a standard apartment is rare. We put overhead shells and oval mirrors in red wooden frames near the window. ”
“The apartment has a lot of details that you want to look at, various color shades give the interior a vividness and brightness. It is important that everyone had enough space. I am pleased that absolutely everything was done according to the project and all our plans were realized. ”
“The main decorative accent in the bedroom is a fun poster over the headboard. In my opinion, the characters depicted vividly reflect the image and character of the apartment owners. I saw them in this picture and they happily agreed. ”“ Opposite the bed is a dressing room with sliding doors. They are made of a special StopSol mirror glass, reflecting not literally as a mirror, but softly with semitones. Translucent mirrored doors allow you to see your own reflection and the contents of the dressing room at the same time. Unusual StopSol glass creates a beautiful effect in the interior, giving it extra depth. ”
“The second bathroom with shower turned out to be festive and elegant. Decorative accents are placed using a mirror in a classic gold frame and a bronze medallion with a rabbit, which I painted and aged with my own hands. ”
